A coated steel frame that is mounted to the towbar of a vehicle and is designed to carry a folded manual wheelchair. It has an adjustable length mechanism for the front castor. A release lever is used to tilt the carrier when loading the wheelchair. The carrier can be folded and removed from the rear of the vehicle when it is not required. Available with a ‘drop in basket’ for loading transit wheelchairs.

The REDGUM Compact Wheelchair carrier has been engineered to have an easy fold mechanism and removal feature whilst being of steel construction to make travelling with your manual wheelchair.

This steel constructed REDGUM Brand has recently been updated, it has been designed to be lighter and overall more compact than the previous version. Designed to carry folding wheelchairs on the back of vehicles, very useful for those who cannot lift or have the space.

The wheelchair requires a standard towbar to accommodate the fitting to a vehicle.
