The Department of Veterans’ Affairs

If you're a current or former servicing member or family, you could have access to 2,000 products through The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).

We’re a registered DVA service provider for the supply of Mobility and Functional Supports to Veterans through the The Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP). Simply call RKMRS and a member of our team will assist you through the quick and easy process.

RAP supports safe and independent living for eligible veterans, war-widowed partners and dependants. Eligible individuals are evaluated by a qualified healthcare provider (like occupational therapist or doctor) who recommends specific aids or appliances. These items are mostly created for individuals with a particular illness or disability. RAP will provide these aids based on the medical assessment.

There is no out of pocket expense for eligible individuals, as the DVA is fully funding the prescribed aids and appliances, along with delivery and installation (as needed).

Rockingham Kwinana Mobility and Rehabilitation Supplies is a registered supplier of equipment for the DVA via Allianz Global Assistance Mobility Services

We can help DVA card holders access equipment such as beds, chairs, and mobility aids to make their lives easier and more independent.

With RKMRS, there’s just 3 Simple Steps:

Visit your GP

Take a filled in D0904 form (you can find it here) to your GP. They’ll provide you with a referral to a registered OT (Occupational Therapist or otherrelevant allied health professional).

You can pick *any* OT you like, and RKMRS is a provider of choice, with an OT who is an expert in DVA supply.

OT Assessment

Your Occupational Therapist will chat to you and undertake an assessment (it’s painless, we promise!).

One of the best parts of this is that you can ask your OT to show you around the RKMRS showroom so you can test any products in advance to make sure they are comfortable/ right for you!

Our highly experienced staff will be on hand to assist too. They know all the products inside out and can answer any questions you may have.

We’ll Place Your Order

To have your order placed, your OT will register it at https://www.mobilityservices.com.au/

We’ll help with this as much as needed/possible.

Once your order is received, we’ll deliver it directly to your door as soon as it arrives!

RKMRS is here to help you, every step of the way.

We assist eligible individuals through the whole process to obtain aids and appliances covered by RAP and the DVA Mobility & Functional Support program (MFS). RKMRS provides equipment prescribed by a healthcare professional and helps with delivery and installation of DVA and MFS orders.
