Delivery Required?

Do you need delivery and collection of your hire products? Delivery is available however fees are charged in addition to the hire fees, and you will only be charged for delivery and/or collection once we have confirmed the details and cost with you.

We have two product types which carry different fees due to their transport requirements. Hiring multiple items? You will
only be charged one delivery and collection fee based on the largest product type you hire.

Every consideration will be given to the time you specify when completing our hire process, however delivery times may vary. If you need a product before a specific time please contact us directly. Please note we can only deliver and collect hire products within 20km of our store.

Hire in a few simple steps.

This will automatically update the hire fee so you can see clearly the costs for your hire period.

Select your product(s) and add them to your cart. 

You can also click on any product to see its features and specifications, and to select any colour/size options if available.

Click checkout button when you are ready to proceed.

Your order details will populate on the right hand side of the page. You can edit details here too. When ready, click the checkout button.

Create and account or sign back in.

Complete the hire form and accept the T&Cs.

If you select delivery we will contact you to confirm the cost and details. You can use our estimator above as a guide.

Delivery and Pick-up

Is it possible you to deliver the products to me and pick them up once I’m done? Yes it is!

Delivery and pickup is calculated separately to your hire fee. You will be able select delivery and pickup as part of the hire process. We will contact you to confirm the details and organize payment of the delivery fee.

We have included a calculator above which you can use to estimate the costs.

Hire Extensions

Do you want to extend your hire or adjust your return date?

Please click here to sign-in to our hire platform with the same details you used to create your hire. You will be able to extend your hire and also adjust return date and times.

FAQ

Yes, you can. However, our standard minimum hire period is seven days (one week). You will note with most products it is the same price to hire for a few days as it is for a week. The reason for this is the administration and cleaning that needs to take place on all products regardless of how long they are hired.

Delivery and pick-up fees are available using the calculator above. You will need to enter your address.

There is a higher fee for delivery of large items. When an item is considered large it is stated in the product description. All other products will be treated as ‘Standard Products’ when calculating delivery and collection fees.

Our delivery drivers are very reliable. You will receive the equipment to your doorstep on the day booked by you. We will call you to confirm the delivery time, but please note it may differ from the time you select during the hire checkout, but will be the same day.

Please note our cut off for same day delivery is 2pm.

If you booked a hire for pick up, we will have it ready for collection at the time you specified. If you have requested delivery we will contact you and organize a delivery time.

Yes. We charge a security deposit on all items we hire. Don’t worry, as long as the product is returned in the same condition you hired it and on time, your deposit will be returned in full to the card used to complete the hire. Please also refer to our hire terms and conditions for further information.

If you are unable to return your product on time please extend your hire using the link here. In the event of extenuating circumstances please call us on 08 6186 6660. In the event that the hire isn’t extended and you have not contacted us we will extend the hire and charge your credit card as per our hire terms and conditions. We will do this 1 week at a time.

Yes, you will be asked to enter your card details as part of the customer details form. These details will be kept safely and securely on file. You will also be asked to enter credit card details to complete payment of the hire fee and security deposit. We store card details as part of security on the products hired, additional charges will only ever be made if products aren’t returned on time or in the case of damage or breach of our hire terms and conditions.

Supporting short-term healing.

If you need equipment for the short term, or aren’t sure whether that equipment is right for you, consider hiring. Whether you need assistance after a surgery or injury, we have plenty of options for hire and can provide personalised recommendations.

Mobility devices are quite expensive to purchase, so hiring is a cost effective way to use them. At RKMRS, we keep all the equipment in top shape — hiring products look, feel and work just like the new ones.

You can hire products for a day, a week, a month, or more, depending on the product and other factors.
